The town exists based on a few million dollars sitting in the bank. That money was stolen from Ruston citizens whose homes lost views and value when the land for the other large condo project was sold by the mayor and council. If the council cared about its citizens then it could have used those millions to pay for the recent Sewer Project, upgrades to our run down park, incentives for business development, recycling services,...

What say you Karen? Do you enjoy your five story neighbor, your view of the stored garbage cans, your new higher than Tacoma sewer rates.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2303471548184281594.post-55480225170133655322015-02-26T21:32:33.132-08:002015-02-26T21:32:33.132-08:00Have followed this Ruston travesty since 2006. Don't buy it.
I have watched how a small town clique can be incredibly obstructive.
Their stated mission in 2006 was for a "bedroom community" and it has not changed. Unrelenting attacks on Point Ruston have been ongoing for eight years. Existing businesses in Ruston have not fared any better.
Point Ruston enjoined into Tacoma we are blessed with an "urban village".
Jimnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2303471548184281594.post-71378809757541127502015-02-26T20:57:45.440-08:002015-02-26T20:57:45.440-08:00Larger, broke, corrupt, pot-hole filled, over taxe...Larger, broke, corrupt, pot-hole filled, over taxed, inferior service City.
You stay classy Tacoma. The majority of current citizens moved here post ASARCO and might prefer the services of the larger more viable Tacoma.
