Funeral Today
I'm late getting this notice up, but longtime residents Bub and Pinky Herbert passed away last week, one day apart. Both attended elementary school here (Pinky at Ruston, Bub at Holy Rosary). Pinky's maiden name was Adams. She was the daughter of Ruston's longtime clerk Rose Adams. Funeral services will be this morning at 11 am at Holy Cross, 5510 N. 44th.

Karen, thanks for the post. There was a huge turnout.
They were my best friend's parents and almost like my second parents (their home on 48th and Orchard, my second home!). I remember going to eat at Bub's Burgers back in the 70's before they closed it and earning money making box lunches at the Fruit Basket at the Puyallup Fair to spend on tickets for the rides. Fun times with the Heberts!
