The News Tribune published an editorial yesterday titled "Is Ruston dragging its feet on contamination?". What do you think? Are they? Are the questions posed by the editorial board fair ones? What is your opinion?

They started dragging in 2006 and have not let up.
Does anyone know the contamination level of the dirt being stored on the cooling pond site? Is the developer following EPA standards. What about dust, water run off and so forth. I hope you people in Ruston are safe.
The soils moved to the cooling pond were from the neighborhood yards that got cleaned up, so they are contaminated but not as high as some of the industrial soils. EPA has a full time contractor on site watching to ensure no dust and other environmental controls are met.
Jim what do the people who live in Ruston need to be concerned about? Thanks for any help, for us, in trying to understand what's happening or about to happen in Ruston.

Who started dragging, City of Ruston or Point Ruston?

Anon sorry for your concerns concerning you but obviously you are not from Ruston or you would be concerned.
