SAMI To Move

Changes are underway for the local Science And Math Institute just north of town. The News Tribune reports that the school district, Metro Parks and Point Defiance Zoo have worked out an agreement to build shared classroom inside the zoo. More details here...

Wow! That Tacoma sure has a lot of great ideas and resources: Parks that people love, a Zoo and Aquarium, Art museums, a Car museum, a Children's museum, a History museum, a Library system, great new and historical places of education, train - bus and light-rail transit systems, Tacoma Power -Water- Rail - Click Network, Theaters of all types, Restaurants of every kind, Full emergency and crisis services ... How horrible it would be to join such a place rather than just be surrounded by it.
