Last Day At Shaffer's Chevron
Today likely is the last day for our locally owned Chevron. The gas has all been sold and items in the store are discounted. Stop in for a bargin and to say goodbye. We will miss you all!
I would buy candy and soda there all the time and take it down to the fire department residence house so I could study long hours into the night. Very sad to see them leaving
Don & I extend our appreciation and respect to each of you for the many years of hard work and dedication you have given to your business and the community. We'll certainly miss seeing your vibrant business on our main intersection.
Take care & sleep in for a while! :) Don & Beth Torbet
A comment came in suggesting the owners take down the numbers on the price sign and turn off the lights. I assume they mean the lights for the sign, the lights in the bays and interior of the shop are already off.

I've heard there are new owners. True? will the gas station keep going with new people?
I have confirmed with the Shaffer family that there is no new owner or buyer for the property or business.
