Welcome to a new way to interact here in Ruston, Washington. This tiny town has seen so much upheaval and bitter controversy the last few years. It is time to listen to each other and push beyond the anger and fear.
It is hoped that this space will become a place for factual presentation of current issues and open political discussion ~ a place to reminisce about the old days and build a positive sense of community. pykmilhWelcome Bev & all! I think this can be a very positive venue to soul search about what we feel is good about Ruston and share experiences. I'm sure politics will enter here & there but not required.
I'll start....when we came to Ruston it was to work on a new beginning of sorts. Don & I wanted to work in a new business together. Ruston is where the opportunity presented itself. When we were looking at the house next door to the store to buy, two women (Dockery's wife & friend) walked by us and commented loudly how expensive the house was. I looked at the realtor who was shocked, laughed & said I'm going to like this town! The characters in Ruston have never let me down
Karen, we need this. I hope to set up another website just to monitor lawsuits and CABAL machinations. Jim Wingard
