For Sale In The Commercial Core

Although its been for sale for awhile, there are bright new signs up letting folks know that the former Purple Cow building is for sale (N. 51st and Highland). I guess it hasn't been the Purple Cow for years ~ funny how us old folks hold onto names.

Any thoughts on what type of business would do well here? What would enhance our business core? Any guess on how long it will to sell in this market? ~ Karen

A bed and breakfast would be nice.

I'd love to see an upscale Day Spa!

How much is it listed for?

It is listed for $729,950 according to the for sale by owner flyer out front. Not on the MLS this time.
Flyer shows contact as Hallock Ryno Investments @ 800-447-0788
With Edward Jones as a tenant...maybe not a bad deal.

You'd only need $150,000 down.Payments would be 6 to 7 Grand. What with Ed jones chipping in $1200,looks like a pretty fair investment. Can't be any worse than the stock market. Can it?

Who's leasing the upper building?

Any idea how much they pay in rent?

The upper property is vacant. You can move right in.Might make a good spot for Town offices.

Good idea....or bad idea.

The comments here sound like fantasies, after the market just plummeted. It may be awhile before there is any movement with this property. Unless a buyer has some serious cash is interested, the worsening economy will keep day spas and b&b's out of Ruston for some time.
