The evening begins at 6 pm with a one-hour study session where the council is slated to talk about where they will raise utility and tax rates. The regular meeting at 7 pm will issues such as hiring street lighting and sewer upgrade consultants and formalizing the current practice of having the fire department perform commercial fire inspections.
There is no material or other details on the last two agenda items: the Point Ruston lease (presumably for the additional space at the school) and a discussion on the budget requested by Council Member Albertson.
