KOMO News had a story yesterday about the higher-than-normal rate of cliff rescues this year at Point Defiance Park. The cliffs continue to erode and are unstable, as they have always been. Are warning signs enough to keep people safe? What do you think? You can view the KOMO story here...

I suggest not falling down the cliff. Just my thoughts.

The INCREASING POPULATION brings more cliff falls, more homeless children, more homeless parents, more homeless seniors, more drive buy shootings, more home invasions, more cruelty to animals, more rapes, more dishonest politicians, more cancer victims, more road rage, more elderly abuse, more E. coli in our foods, more unexplainable dead fish, more wild fires set by humans, more stores being robbed at gun point, more drunk drivers, more dishonest business owners, more mental depression and more bad policemen (their negativity is the most harmful because we are told that they will protect us) etc. etc. etc.. None of these problems are new, the numbers have increased because the percentage of negativities is relative. Example: In a group of 100 people 10 will create negativity, in group of 1000 people 100 will create negativity. There are thousands of people who visit the Point Defiance Park yearly. The negativity in the park can be better controlled through education. Hire a lifeguard for the beach. Create a Park Ranger department and post Park Rangers at the areas in the 5 mile drive that are the most tempting and dangerous for visitors to explore. Post signs that explain the dangers. Create better rules as needed. The new animal feeding rules are successful. A few visitors grumbled at first but the positivity that is at the duck pond and the fort now is undeniable.
