The shed on Metro Park's vacant lot (N. 54th and Pearl) has been turned into an outdoor gym. But it appears the buff-seeking guy or gal does not have permission of the property owner. Whoever you are, you have until tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 22nd) to remove your exercise equipment or it gets moved for you...

Well I guess no good deed goes unpunished. Whoever it was - that was a good idea and it was nice of you to share your equipment. I'm guessing it can't stay because of legal ramifications should someone get hurt.
My god! I had no idea that was Metro Parks land! At least it can now be put to use!
They've had it for years, so it probably won't happen soon. They don't seem to be in a hurry.
How many remember the reason for the park district purchasing the property? As I recall, there was a plan to have a large round about at the intersection. That piece was purchased and there was also hope of purchasing the Goldfish Tavern property.
