Ruston Likely to Hike Sewer, Water Rates; so reads the headlines on a local blog in Ruston, Louisiana. The council in Ruston, Washington is discussing the same issue (on sewers) this last month. We aren't looking at a 50% increase like our sister city down south, but up to $37 per month per hook up is predicted at this point.
I can't say that helps to know we are not alone with this struggle, but the parallels are interesting....
