The park district released this notice about the recent improvements being done at Point Defiance Park. They are leveraging private dollars for remediation to enhance other improvements to the bowl area....

It's all good stuff!
That's a nice way to spin EPA mandated yard cleanup.
To bad the Goldfish slope and area below it will be covered in plants,etc., and no longer available for sledders.
That was my thought when I saw the slope too. But, sledders are a crafty lot and will just incorporate newer and far better jumps into their runs.
