How High Will It Go?

The Commencement building is almost to full height. There will be one more story over most of the building, but the southern area (the corner of the building pictured here) will not be any higher. This portion will be a rooftop plaza. The project is still expecting completion by early spring next year.

I heard it was goin to be 10 stories high. That they paid off the new council members and got another 3 floors.

Funny how rumors can take on a life of their own. Even the new council members are not immune.

That last floor is going to have thirty-five foot ceilings if the roof is going to be even with the bottom of the crane cab.

Or, the Ruston Connection got it wrong in their picture with the overwrought drawings of the building height.

If they edit their file, I have them archived.
