Hopefully everyone got to see the show from one of the hillsides in Ruston tonight. Vashon Island and Des Moines had a nice show, too. We've got the best seat in the whole South Sound for the fireworks (and air show for that matter).Things are a bit quieter in town with the fireworks ban, other than the sonic boom from the fighter jet noise over the bay. When the show ended tonight, everyone on Bennett Street clapped and kids chanted "Again, Again!!". Hopefully we can enjoy the show from the new Bennett Street Promontory Park by next year. Here's hoping!

I think they moved the fireworks barge more north this year. It was the best I've ever seen from my porch! Happy Fourth of July everyone!!
Apparently anyone from the RC group would have hated the show since it was funded by the Emerald Queen CASINO after all.
