Talk about changes brewing in our local commercial landscape. Scott Fontaine is reporting that the Goldfish Tavern is closing and more condo's may be going in.
Progress appears to have stopped on the development project next to Jungle Fever on the Tacoma side of Pearl Street, too. Change is never easy ~ it feel a bit like growing pains.

I think whom ever buys the Gold Fish will have trouble with the zoning.
I belive that area is zoned residential with a conditional use permit.If the residents in Tacoma are anything like Ruston, you may as well keep pouring beer.It has been on and off the market for a couple of years now.Asking around $1,000,000.
Remember to designate a driver.You'd have to be drunk to pay that much.
