A reader with a downtown office and great view of the Foss Waterway sent this picture in of the Point Ruston ferry/sales center. He noticed it today and wondered what it was. Thanks for sharing ~ enjoy that view!

You forgot announcement of the first building in the POINT RUSTON development. Final permits, new construction mixed use building: I'll bet you a whopper it's located in TACOMA!!!! Obstructionism comes at a very high price for the citizens of Ruston.
I saw that quote - its news to me that construction will start in a few weeks on the lower site (which is in Tacoma). I understand the
Stack Hill development is permitted now (one house anyway) and construction is starting. But the Tacoma development is still going though the SEIS process. I'll ask Point Ruston and let you know what the facts are....
