Jane Hunt's council appointment was on the Tribune's political blog on Monday and a repeat in the local "In Brief" section today.

ODD that Jane did not mention that SHE was/is the person leading the "small group of people raising a ruckus" as stated in the TRIB coverage of her appointment.
If the council really had a desire to unify the Town, then Hunt would not have been selected. I think the Council should unify the Town by putting the issue of annexation into Tacoma up for general election and give the people a chance to decide what the Town means to them. Without a tax base and all the improvements looming in the future (sewer contract about to expire and failing sewer system that needs major work), I give the Town two years before it cannot financially support itself.
Please enjoy your time listening and sharing your thoughts. Comments are encouraged and are monitored for civility and accuracy.
