Does it not seem absurd to anyone else that applications were accepted to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Everding, but WE THE PEOPLE will not be allowed to question the candidates? Whom ever is selected by the Council will be appointed to represent US, but we have no opportunity to interact with them and assess their qualifications, views on Town growth, how they see their role, what they bring to the table, etc. I DON’T GET IT. How is it that we pay the taxes, but have no say in what goes on in this town and those who were appointed along with two elected members view us as bothersome, caged animals.
