Again.Thank you MC Construction. King 5 seems to have ran a positive story on the site.Free advvertising for the development.I hope you sell out the hillside. Maybe than these Fools will see the light. The wait and see will become... Wow is that what they have been talking about all this time. Those with vision and courage should be leaders. Those that don't should not be in politics nor live in Ruston.
Never mind the drivelling idiot talking about not wanting his kids down there. Light up another one and crack another beer, yeehaw!
I know personally of at least a dozen Ruston kids in their mid thirties with children of their own and surprise, surprise, no problems. The remediaton crews aren't glowing yet either and they have much more exposure than most anyone living now.
Born in Ruston, grew up in Ruston, one block from the plant, going strong at 74. My Dad was born one block away, practically under the stack on Commercial Street. Spent his whole life in Ruston, 90 years. Have yet to find one veriried case of ANYONE being harmed by ASARCO. In fact, some studies show traces of these minerals can be beneficial. But I did find a lot of people who made money off of sterotyping this issue, lot's of money. Besides it has all been hauled away and any remnants, if any, have a half-life.
Please enjoy your time listening and sharing your thoughts. Comments are encouraged and are monitored for civility and accuracy.
