Did you notice the balloons around town tonight? The bocce games on Winnifred Street? The great prizes that were handed out? Pierce County Council Member Tim Farrell stopped by, as did a whole host of Exit 133 blog readers.Exit 133's own Whitney won the evening bocce contest and Marty Campbell won the grand prize of a weekend in Ocean Shores. Marty is president of the Cross District, the group that represents all the business districts. In all, there were 18 entries to the drawing and 13 prizes awarded.
A huge thank you to all the businesses who stayed open late and donated to this effort - and thank you to all our visitors! Come back again soon. The bocce contest continues next Thursday at the Narrows Business District. But we had so much fun in Ruston, you can expect to see more bocce games in the median soon ~ Baby Alice, the neighborhood cat would like the company.
