Ruston's Going Purple

Today was "Paint The Town Purple Day" in Ruston, thanks to our own Bev Wombacher of Ladies Workout Express. Purple balloons were popping up all over town, raising many an eyebrow ~ and awareness of our local Relay For Life coming up May 30th and 31st.
The relay is more than a fund raiser. It's a chance to live out the event's theme: Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back. Those who have joined the all-night walk know it is a life changing experience. You meet cancer survivors young and old. You build strong bonds and come away with a sense of all this is truly important in life.
Unfortunately, cancer touches all of us is some way, directly or those we love. This is your chance to fight back. Bev and her team represent Ruston in this important event at Mt. Tahoma High School. If you can't participate directly, you can contribute and help our local team reach their goal of $5,000. And hang some purple out front this weekend ~ let's paint Ruston purple!
