Woman on Tracks Identified
The News Tribune has more details about the woman killed on the train tracks in Ruston. Her name was Rosemary Dye, a transient who appears to have been struck by the train.

This is really sad. Many of us will read this and go on with our lives uneffected by this loss of ilfe. Transients, homeless, mental illness...it's all so far from our reality...but is it?
You're right, we can put this death away in a neat box more easily under these circumstances - dismiss it and return to our safe worlds. But Rosemary was someone's daughter and precious to God. May she rest in peace now.
