There was a great turn out for Jennie's party today at noon. The police chief and officers, the maintenance men, our town electrical planner, office staff, the new mayor and several residents came by to send our utility clerk off in style. We even had a reporter show up, although I doubt the party was the focus of his story.
We managed to keep from crying (those will come later no doubt). Marla Miller made a beautiful flower bouquet, the cake was lovely and delicious. Jennie will be working through tomorrow, so stop in and join us in thanking her for 7 and a half years of a job well done.
