Study Session Agenda: June 23, 2008

Here is the agenda for the meeting on Monday. The interlocal agreement for the police task forces will be discussed, along with finding more ways to raise revenue for town operations. The only paperwork on this issue is a copy of the current gambling tax code, which confirms the push to raise the rates substantially will be discussed.

Even though we can't comment during the meeting, we can talk to council members before and after the meeting. Please let them know your thoughts on this important issue of revenue sources. The council's decisions have the potential to impact a great deal more than one business in town.
