Longtime Ruston Councilwoman Mary Joyce will be honored by naming the former gym of the school after her. The area is expected to be turned into a community center after The Commencement has completed their lease for the area. Mary served for something over 30 years as a Ruston council member, finally resigning her post last December.
There will be a special dedication of the "Mary Krilich Joyce Community Center" at the school on Saturday, July 26 from 2 til 5 pm. Please come and honor one of Ruston's treasures.
