Survived Another Year

Remember the theme song from the 1973 version The Poseidon Adventure? It kept running through my mind this evening watching the crowds wander through town: "There's got to be a morning after, if we can hold on through the Taste..." I noted more folks were selling parking spaces and cold drinks this year. We're becoming Puyallup!
It looked like several of us went down for those last minute nibbles and bargains. I hope the clean up went well, too. We didn't make it for cookies at town hall, but got our little piece of heaven picked up. I caught John Loomis busy on his street, too.
Mother Nature sure put on a show after the show for us tonight, too! The next big party in town is the Point Defiance Music Fest on Saturday, September 6th on 51st Street. But the Tall Ships sail by Ruston's shores next Thursday at 10 am with Freedom Fest closing the tunnel and Ruston Way on Friday the 4th. It must be summer...
