Agenda: June 2, 2008

On tap: follow up on several issues (LID for Point Ruston, utility locates for construction, interim planning services from the building inspector team), some police department issues (like the task force for major crimes), a few issues brought up by Council Member Albertson (alley paving on Commercial, underground utilities on Court, credit union sewer pump) and the first reading on a proposal to remove the B&O tax in Ruston. Should be an interesting night, hope you can join us at 7 pm, 5219 N. Shirley Street. The full packet of information is available at Ruston Reports.

Interesting that Albertson wants Ruston to pay for improvements in his neighborhood only. What about the rest of us? I thought we were facing some budget deficits - wasn't that the reason to raise the gambling tax?

Way to go Dan.We havn't done any improvements to this town since the bridge was finally re-opened.
Best to just let sh#t fall apart.
Then we can put up those handsome
Bagdad barrier's all over town.
Much cheaper that way, until you have no further options. Makes our town look reeeel nice too!

I'm sure thats what Point Ruston is hoping for.
