The Quest Continues

Scott Fontaine, roving reporter for our local paper, has shared some of his interview with Mayor Transue and Council Member Stebner today on his blog. Remember, Scott wants to hear from all of us ~ scott.fontaine@thenewstribune.com or give him a call: 253-320-4758.

How bout that Wayne.Fully supporting the Commencement. He really gets it!Always looking for ways to encourage business,Development and revenue streams. If only Ruston had 60 to 70
undeveloped acres, unobstructed views, water front,a marina and be connected to the second most popular tourist destination in the state. Until that gift from God drops in our laps... Ruston may just have to say Bye Bye.

Wayne concluded "I will continue to hold them accountable" which is a contradiction of his previous statement. Remember he turned down $24,000 rent in favor of a $15,000 dollar lawsuit. Just $39,000 cost to the town and growing every day. It's business as usual for Wayne and his cabal council friends. Stop all growth in Ruston and drive all businesses out. What a friend Ruston has in winey Wayne.

Would someone please tell Wayne Stebner that the waterfront property has been sold!

Wayne there is no "wait & see" option. The new owner is attempting to develope his property in Ruston to afford us new revenue. Apparently you are not aware that your fellow council members have cost the developer 10X what Tacoma has charged them with their inability to make timely decisions. Does that encourage new revenue? Wayne wake up!!!

I'm one of those certain residents that isn't happy. It has nothing to do with my candidate or power. It has everything to do with you having a clue about reality and dealing with it. Possibly you could research economic developement and learn new ways to invite commerce to the Town of Ruston. It would be a positive step for you and your credibility.

In conclusion, I would like to address your apparent paranoia ~ are you being treated for that? The police budget has been so drastically cut they can't afford another swat team.

Council member Stebner had more to say at the last council meeting than he has for all of the last two plus years seated on the other end of the table. That may or may not be a good thing....looking back, not likely to be so good.
