It appears Ruston is advertising for an interim police chief. Anyone know what is going on?

2 very anonymous sources confirm that Chief Reinhold is gone. More details as they become available. We hear there may be some kind of official word on Friday. It's important to note that personnel issues are very sensitive and heavily regulated. We will endeavor to only repeat verified facts here.

Ya know, the Ruston council members are a bunch of liars. They are not to be trusted on any front. From the inception the Ruston Connection and it's gang of renegades, they've been set on destroying Ruston's independence through the destruction of our resources.
With the sudden and unexpected departure of our Police Chief, the first place one's suspicions naturally go is toward that secretive, lying group of scoundrels on the town council.
But in this case, I have to hold out the possibility that the Chief was the author of his own misfortune. Although the Chief of Police is usually employed at the pleasure of the mayor, government employees normally don't 'disappear' like this unless they have given their employers good reason to remove them.
I like Jim Reinhold. He has a gruff exterior that gets in the way for some people, but he's been a better friend to this town than most people realize. It would distress me to know that he has caused his own demise. I would prefer to go with the premise that the cabal is at it again.
But we need to keep open minds until we get some reliable information.

They will never replace our police chief Jim Reinhold (Ruston people not RC people or CABAL people) under the present poisoned atmosphere. The RC group may be winning the battles but the Rustonians will win the war. Another Ruston icon blown away by the evil-minded CABAL joining Dan Wombacher, Bob Pudlo, Kim Wheeler. et al.
